Fès City Group: a school site built for parents
Fès City is a Fès school group running maternelle through lycée, with trilingual instruction, science and robotics clubs, transport, canteen and tutoring, 150+ teachers and sixteen years behind it.
The group had no website at all — sixteen years of operation, more than 150 teachers, and nothing online carrying any of it. What they asked for was a platform they could run themselves, which for a school means something specific: the calendar changes every term, announcements are weekly, an event moves at two days' notice, and none of that can wait on a developer. So it was built on Laravel with Filament as the panel, and the school publishes into it directly.
For parents already enrolled
A school calendar, published and maintained by the school itself.
Announcements, for the things that used to go home in a bag.
Events, with what's coming up front.
For parents choosing
The programmes and facilities that differentiate the group.
Testimonials, articles and a newsletter.
Contact capture into the admin panel.
Built by my team at Digiton, where I was CTO. I set the architecture, reviewed the work, and owned SEO, performance, responsiveness and the deploy.
