HFEI: an Arabic course platform on The Nest
The Human Flourishing Engineering Institute — HFEI — is a Moroccan institution founded by three academics, running short training cycles, coaching programmes and personal-development work grounded in positive and cognitive psychology.
HFEI came to this with a website already running and a single gap in it: they had nowhere to teach. What they needed was not a site, it was the half a site cannot be — registration, enrolment, a student's own area, and the cycles they had paid to join.
That is the case The Nest was built for. Rather than write a course platform for one institute, theirs is an instance of it — configured, themed in Arabic and deployed on its own subdomain, beside the site they already had. Standing it up for a real Arabic-language client is also what proved the white-label side of the product rather than the demo of it.
The landing site
Built in Arabic, right-to-left by design rather than mirrored from a left-to-right layout.
Structured around the featured cycles — the course catalogue does the selling, not a brochure page.
About, FAQ and enrolment paths, responsive across phone, tablet and desktop.
The course platform
Their student app runs on The Nest, the white-label e-learning platform my team builds — configured, themed and deployed for them.
Split across two domains: flourishing.academy for the public site, my.flourishing.academy for the app.
Registration, login and password reset; enrolment and access to the cycles a student has joined.
Deploying The Nest for a real Arabic-language client is what proved the white-label side of the product outside our own environment.
