Ibn Ghazi Arabic Institute: programmes and applications

The Ibn Ghazi Arabic Institute — IGAI — teaches Modern Standard Arabic, Classical Arabic and Darija in Fez, with native instructors, small classes, cultural immersion and host-family or on-site housing.

The institute had a WordPress site that could describe the school and could not enrol anybody. Someone deciding whether to fly to Fez for a term needs term dates, a published price and a way to apply — and an application pipeline the school can actually work through is a system, not a form that sends an email. Rebuilt on Laravel with Filament, the school got both halves at once: the pages that persuade, and the panel the applications land in.

Built to answer the enrolment question

  • Programmes, each with what it covers and who it's for.

  • Calendar terms, so start dates are on the page instead of in an email thread.

  • Published tuition fees rather than "contact us for pricing" — the single biggest drop-off point for a school selling abroad.

  • Applications submitted and managed through the site.

Content that does the convincing

  • Free resources, ebooks and video for prospective students.

  • Articles, news, testimonials and an FAQ.

  • Announcement banners for intake deadlines and scholarships.

Built by my team at Digiton, where I was CTO. I set the architecture, reviewed the work, and owned SEO, performance, responsiveness and the deploy.
