Sardis: a wholesale catalogue for the trade
Sardis wholesales sanitary ware, faucets and bathroom accessories in Morocco, and is Ramon Soler's exclusive partner there.
The previous site was WordPress, and looked the part without doing the job. A wholesale catalogue is not a shop: it is organised by brand rather than by need, it carries the whole range rather than a selection, and a line going out of production has to stop being sold without breaking the orders that already reference it. Rebuilding on Laravel with Filament made the catalogue a data model instead of a set of pages — which is what made archiving possible at all.
The catalogue
Products organised by brand first — how a trade buyer searches, rather than by room or need.
Categories, cart and order handling.
Archiving instead of deletion, so a line going out of production doesn't break the orders that reference it.
Around it
Articles by category, a homepage slider, a newsletter and contact capture.
One admin panel over all of it.
Built by my team at Digiton, where I was CTO. I set the architecture, reviewed the work, and owned SEO, performance, responsiveness and the deploy.
