Sahara Desert Dream: circuits, excursions, bookings

Sahara Desert Dream is a state-certified tour operator based in Ouarzazate, organising Sahara circuits, Atlas treks and imperial-city trips from Marrakech, Fès and Agadir. The site had to carry a catalogue that changes, in more than one language, and turn browsing into a booking request.

What it replaced was a poorly built site, and a single-language one. A tour operator's catalogue changes with the season and has to exist in more than one language, with each language holding its own indexable URLs rather than a translation widget over the top. None of that is something a theme does for you. On Laravel with Filament behind it, circuits, excursions and activities became real content types, translated record by record, and edited by the operator instead of by me.

The catalogue

  • Circuits, excursions and activities as separate content types, each with its own listing and detail page.

  • Live filtering on each listing, so a visitor narrows by what they're actually after.

  • A reservation flow that carries the selected trip through to the request.

Multilingual

  • Every route is language-prefixed, so each language has its own indexable URLs.

  • Content is translated at the record level, not through a switcher bolted on afterwards.

Around the catalogue

  • A blog, an FAQ, testimonials, and practical-information and pricing pages.

  • One admin panel covering all of it, including incoming reservations.

Development tools

  • LaravelLaravel
